Cory

i think it's interesting how your own poetry always seems to surprise you.

i found this poem and at first thought it was just a bunch of random thoughts that i put together, but then when i looked at the title "Cory" i realized that it wasn't.

this is a poem i made of an aim convo with CJ Holmes about two years ago. i'm not entirely sure if it's composed of only his side of the convo, mine, or a combination of both his and mine.
i'll let him be the judge...

I'm not gonna lie
I'm not ready to be lonely again
And I'm not just saying that
I would love to know more

I'm not ready to be lonely again
It's an honor to let you know
I would love to know more
Kinda like a good horror

It's an honor to let you know
Especially when you're lonely like me
Kinda like a good horror
They are beautiful

Especially when you're lonely like me
But phenomenal nonetheless
They are beautiful
No maybe not

But phenomenal nonetheless
I'm not gonna lie
No maybe not
And I'm not just saying that

either way, i think it's beautiful.

  1. I still love this so much. I have it saved on my computer... The first time I read it, it was like jaw-dropped-to-the-floor amazing. Made me feel special. Like someone cared. Thank you, Leona.
